Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Caltor Inc. ("Caltor", "we", "us"). By using caltor.ai you accept them. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you accept them for that organization. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

The site describes the firm, the work we do and how to reach us. Its content is general information, not professional advice, and it is not an offer to provide services. Results, timelines and comparisons described on it are illustrative.

Nothing on the site creates a client relationship. That exists only once both sides sign a written agreement, and if that agreement conflicts with anything here, the agreement wins.

Scope, fees, intellectual property, confidentiality, security and liability for any engagement are set in the written agreement for that engagement. Please do not send confidential material through the site until a confidentiality agreement is in place.

Use the site lawfully and in a way that does not harm it or anyone else. In particular, do not try to gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it; disrupt or overload it, or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission; use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy its content or contact details; send spam, malware or unlawful content through its forms; or misrepresent who you are or your connection to any organization.

The site and its text, design, graphics and code, and the Caltor name and mark, belong to Caltor Inc. or its licensors. You may view the site and print or save pages for your own reference. Any other use needs our written permission.

Other companies' names, logos and trademarks appear on the site only to describe tools we work with or ventures we have built, and belong to their owners. Their appearance is not a claim of endorsement. Photographs are licensed and credited on the colophon.

When you send us a message, you confirm that you are entitled to share what it contains. We handle personal information in it as our privacy policy describes. If you send ideas or feedback about the site, we may use them without owing you anything.

The site links to sites we do not control, such as the ventures we have built and our social profiles. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

The site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Caltor Inc. and its partners, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on it. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

If you break these terms or the law in using the site and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs that result.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from them or from the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and both sides consent to those courts. This does not remove any protection that the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer.

We may update these terms, and the date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and our not enforcing a term does not waive it.
